BugBand
Ahhh summer time, from lounging in the lake to picnicking in the park. Spending time outdoors with friends and family is what warm weathers all about. But summertime can also be full of biting, buzzing pests. It doesn’t matter if your playing outside with the kids, gardening, picnicking, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, or golfing, uninvited guests particularly mosquitoes and insects can ruin the fun. Even worse, they can be dangerous. Traditional insect repellents can be effective but many people are thinking twice about slathering synthetic man-made pesticides on their clothing, arms, legs, and faces. Today a new insect repellent is emerging as an effective alternative to traditional pesticides such as Deet. BugBand Insect Repellent is a safer choice. It uses naturally derived, pleasantly scented, and proven effective Geraniol Vapors to create an invisible shield that’s safe for children and pets, and can even be used around food. For years, people have planted Geraniums on their porches or window boxes believing that the flowers helped deter mosquitoes. Today, scientific data supports that belief. Geraniol, a naturally occurring repellent that can be extracted from Geranium oil through a unique refining process has proven to be an effective means of repelling blood feeding insects.
Over a 17 year period, the University of Florida developed and tested alternatives to traditional chemicals. According to the laboratories extensive studies, Geraniol has been proven effective in repelling a wide variety of insects including mosquitoes, ticks, flies, gnats, and flees. Scientists aren’t the only ones singing BugBands praises, some of the countries top organizations have put the products to the test. Organizations including the Gardening Club of America, North American Hunting Club, North American Fishing Club, and the PGA Tour Partners have all given BugBand there seals of approval. Newspapers, magazines, TV and radio shows, and websites across the country are covering BugBand as well. From Good Morning America and The Today Show to The Dallas Morning News, the buzz on BugBand is building. The Geraniol Vapors from the BugBand Wristband form a protective shield keeping insects including mosquitoes, ticks, flies, gnats, and flees a safe distance away. While many repellents are easily diluted or rinsed off with swimming or perspiration, the Wristband just keeps working, up to 120 hours. It’s packaged in an innovative and reusable plastic pod which can be used to store the Wristband and sealĀ it to preserve the active life of the product. It can also be worn on belt loops, hat bands, pet colors, fastened in tents, attached to strollers, or applied to other areas where insects could be a problem.
